In 1983 after discussion with a fellow boat building apprentice I drew up what was to be his first design 'Fatal Obsession' a 36' sports cruiser. After completing my apprenticeship I returned to university to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree. In 1997 I founded Booth Design 2000 and have continued to develop a knowledge of naval architecture and shipbuilding in both commercial shipping and pleasure vessels ranging in size from 5m to 65m.
At Booth Design 2000 we have developed a sound knowledge of vessel structures and systems in a variety of materials to back up our creative design skills. We have worked with or for a large variety of companies and clients either as an integral part of their organisation or as independent contractors.
